Rules & Regulations
Morning shows will start promptly at 9am. Check-in will be available from 5pm the night before till 8am the morning of the show. Second show will start as soon as possible after the conclusion of the first show.
We will provide six buckles for the high point exhibitors and reserve high point exhibitors in the following categories: Youth Exhibitor, Percentage Exhibitor, and Fullblood Exhibitor. Points will be accumulated at the above ABGA sanctioned shows. We will also supply buckles for the Percentage doe, Fullblood Buck & Fullblood Doe that has the most points at the end of the show series. Decisions of the Show committee will be final. ABGA shows will be conducted in accordance to ABGA rules and class structure.
Youth goats must be in the child’s name, and they have to lead them in the ring to qualify for the buckles. If a youth has more than one goat in a class you can have someone else show the other goat(s) as long as you are in the ring with one of them. Goats owned by youth but not shown by them can qualify for the open buckles.
Exhibitors must show at nine of the eleven shows to be eligible for the buckles. Goats will be awarded 5 points for 1st place; and 1 point for 5th place inclusive. If there are less than 5 goats in a class the points will be prorated. Buckles will be awarded at the conclusion of the last show. Points for overall bucks and does will also be awarded 3 points for Division Champion, 1 point for Res. Division Champion, 5 points for Overall Champion, and 3 points for Overall Res. Champion.
